I for one like it, no fancy stuff crudding up the screen, it is more "down to business"-like But having that said (and shamelessly plugging StumbleUpon, through which I arrived at your site, as a better social tool) it does seem like the trend is "bling" over content. :( I have to admit, I didn’t initially even identify this site as a blog until you explicitly mentioned it.
